Anthony Styles is a Tampa Bay DJ and producer who has been playing since 2003. He has shared the stage with Zion y Lennox, Pauly D, Tego Calderón, Tony Touch, N.O.R.E. and Fatman Scoop, played LIV in Bahrain, and made the finals of MTV's Spin Masters, a DJ battle judged by Kid Capri. His tracks have more than 2.4 million plays on SoundCloud, led by his remix of Tito El Bambino and Zion y Lennox's “Mi Cama Huele a Ti” at close to a million, and since 2022 he has released more than 15 house records on Sound Infantry. Anthony has never stuck to one lane. He scratches and blends like the club DJs he came up with, builds his house sets with a producer's ear, and works a room in English and Spanish, moving between house, hip-hop, Latin and Top 40 as the night calls for it. He started at 17, DJing the biggest teen nights in Tampa when jook music ruled them, and his sets were where a lot of local jook records got their first spin. From there he moved into the clubs. Ybor City gave him his first weekly nights, Yakaleo Fridays at Club Empire and Saturdays at Club Prana, while his mixes aired on La Nueva 92.5's D Party. He later held Saturdays at Studio Inc, and over time played just about every club in Tampa Bay. He also started a DJ crew of his own, Regulator DJs, which grew to more than 20 DJs and promoted nights across the city. Later came hotel and rooftop nights at the Aloft and the Epicurean in Tampa and Cane & Barrel in St. Pete, and dates as far as Atlanta and Bahrain. Today he holds down Fridays at Corner Bar in SoHo, plays Bay Street Yard in Fort Myers every month, and takes bookings across Florida, New York and Puerto Rico. He founded Yakaleo and programmes the station. Here he hosts Perreo Sábados, Saturdays from 2 to 4.
